Repost : Best Possible minors for my Geography Degree?

So I recently just finished my freshman year and I just switched into the geography program. My adviser told me that most students within the major had a minor to go along with it. I thought about it, and I’ve narrowed it down to three options:

  1. Geography/Meteorology double major. Out of the three, I think it will give me the best job prospects and pay off in the long run. The only downside is the course work is harder than the others for meteorology.
  2. Public and Urban Affairs minor. This one interests me a lot because I think it would prepare me to work with the local government if they were to hire me within the GIS department.
  3. Environmental Policy and Planning minor. This one is also very interesting to me because it would prepare me to be a future urban planner. However, i would need to go to grad school for that and that is something that I don't know if I want to do right now.

I would love to hear your thoughts on each option. What possible jobs would I have with each? Which has the most favorable job market? Any GIS people out there that could give me some help?

Thanks guys

Meteorology is science, urban planning is social science: which is your strong point?
Don’t choose meteorology if you’re not too good at science, but it may indeed have the better prospects.
What about economics?

Thanks for replying! I would say that urban planning is more up my alley than Meteorology would be. However, I took a physical geography class last semester that had some meteorology elements involved and I enjoyed it. I’m not bad at science so meteorology is a big possibility. Although I included meteorology mainly because of the job market. Out of the three, it is my least favorite. Public and Urban affairs is my favorite but i’m skeptical about how much of an advantage that would give me in the long run. I also thought about economics but I’m not that great at math. May I ask what your career or college major is?

It would be helpful if someone else has any opinions as well! Thanks!
