hey cc'ers so here's how it's going down at my school.
i go to a pretty big school neat boston around 3.5k kids and I hang out with not the best crowd etc. I dont do drugs and stuff like that but my friends do and yea.
teachers, other students, and most importantly my counselor all think I cheat because I take 6 ap classes and do well in all of them and students just started spreading rumors that I was stealing the test, im using my phone during tests (which makes no sense my phone can barely text), I have test banks and thats why I did well.
i did pretty well on sat's and ap's too. I have a 4, a 2380, a 800 in a language, 800 in math 2, and 750 in us.
my school is just full of competitve asian and white kids that are all dying to get to college and quite frankly though it may seem like im some nonchalant hipster... i want to go to a good college too, but im scared my counselors gonna just wreck it for me on my common app rec saying I have academic integrity issues.
i'm in the process of trying to establish a good connection with another counselor at school who's more understanding of what's happening but i can tell she has her reservations too.
so im wondering in a case like this what should i do?
i have two teachers that i can recs from that trust me whole heartedly with out any issues and i know theyre the only reason some giant investigation is being launched. theres no evidence against me just some rumors. i mean its not like i cheated on the ap or sat or anything like that its just kids think i cheat in classes which makes no sense given my performance on standardized testing.
i'm not saying i'm some genius but i can tell alot of the kids at my school are just bothered because i dont blatantly show that i try but i end up doing well.
so yea what should i/ can i do to remedy the situation?

any and all help would be much much appreciated.

maybe you could ask the teachers who are writing your recs to talk to your school’s guidance department. It may help to have a trusted adult speaking on your behalf.
