Request a rescore?

I took the SAT II Bio-E in June, and I got a 720. Considering that I was scoring 780-800 consistently on practice tests and got a 790 in CB Blue Book and a 750 in Barron’s (which is notoriously difficult), I’m so confused as to how I got the 720… And I walked out of the test feeling pretty confident that I’d gotten at least 780+.

Should I submit a rescore request? $50 isn’t chump change, but it’s really bothering me because I don’t want to restudy for the bio exam in October. Is it possible that I could’ve scored that low in comparison to my practice test scores… like is the # of questions missed comparable?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Same happened to me for Physics SAT II. I scored an 800 on the CB Blue book literally 2 days before the actual exam. Then I got a 740 on the real thing.

You shouldn’t. I’ve taken many a collegeboard test, and as far as their scantrons go/matching up your score with your name, they are competent. It’s much more likely that you just choked on the real test than they made a mistake.

I agree with @Kyuutoryuu
