It appears as though something strange is going on. I know of kids who were accepted with a 3.5 GPA and 25 ACT, while others with a 3.7/33 have gotten the request for 7th semester grades. I was under the impression that a 3.0 was acceptable at MSU as well. Does anyone have anything to offer on the subject? Thanks in advance.
Since no one knows which MSU you are referring to, no.
yeah i got the same letter i had a 3.4 UW 3.7 W with 12 AP/Honors classes. Got a 27 on the ACT. Captain of the robotics team, student council, programming club, spanish club, multiple summer programs, honor roll, national honor society, solid essay, (etc.) . I was heart broken, its my dream school. Im really depressed, i even called them and they wouldn’t even tell me why i was not accepted the first time. At this point i just want to know what kind of grades the first semester i need to get in. Its really hard to focus on school when my best buddies are getting in and i’m just off by myself.

I have also received that BankOfMom.
Thanks HSStudent124. It sounds like all the deferred applicants received the same notice. No “good” or “bad” deferreal letters like with U of M. Good sign, I guess.
