Required International Experience?

The StarTribune: Newspaper of the Twin Cities reports today

that the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business will now require its students to have an international experience as part of graduation requirements.

I think that's great. For my undergrad international relations degree, we are required to spend at least a semester abroad either studying at an approved program or with an approved internship (which includes a research paper at the end as well as a running journal).

Goucher in MD gives every student $1200 (well, technically, it's your own money :)) to study abroad.
