The December ACT was a recycled test (from Oct 08 I believe). Does anyone think that it's likely that the rescheduled ACTs (as a result of the massive snow storms across the eastern coast of the US) could be recycled tests as well? I think this is quite possible because I doubt the ACT would make three entirely new tests (for the 3 rescheduled dates) just for these partial administrations.

more than likely… I think the one administered on the 6th was recycled as well because at the bottom of the test booklet it said copyright ACT 2008 (c)

@deposition

Do u remember a specific topic in the science section (i.e pulleys or biology classification or w/e)? If so, can you search it in the ACT forum. It could very well show up in one of the discussion threads from 2008.

How do you know that its from a 2008 test?

I’m shocked the ACT completely recycles tests.

I tried to find if this one was recycled but I dont think it was. I searched the tower questiosn on the math section (i imagine that was one that many people would have wanted to know how to solve) and only the febuary one came up

i also searched but didn’t find anything. They probably just made it in 08, which wouldn’t be surprising that they make tests way ahead of time.

i suggest doing all the ACT TIRs you can find. I know if I reviewed it and I got retested it on it. Id probably only miss 1-2 questions total. And, there is a good chance of a recycle this time, and if so, you are very lucky

im not shocked they recycle because you have 5 testing sessions a year plus you have been doing it for 20+ years. i do think that they should only recycle every high school class or every 4 years so nobody will have the chance to get the same test twice
