I admitted to the UMD for fall 2017 as an international transfer student. But my advisor told me that the UMD can rescind my admission because my cumulative GPA dropped 0.14 due to winter quarter. I took Java II, Physics II, Calculus IV for winter quarter and I had a hard time to concentrate on the study because of severe depression. I didn’t fail any class, but I got C in Physics II and not a good score for Java II and Calculus IV. Is it possible that the UMD rescind my admission after I send my final transcript to them? Should I contact the UMD admission office and tell my current GPA and situation what I experienced last quarter?
i heard that umd doesnt recind unless you dont graduate (unlike other schools that tend to recind when they see Cs)

My opinion is your acceptance won’t be rescinded for that minimal change. If your cumulative GPA dropped by 1.0, then it might be a different story.
