Rescind?

<p>Ok, so I have a problem. I just completed a history class at Harvard because I had taken all of the history classes my school required. While I was enthusiastic at first, due to apps and other homework, along with taking my first college course by myself with no guidance from the school or being able to work with other students.</p>

<p>Of course this is my fault, but I will probably end up with a C or D in the class. I got into Macalester ED1, but is there any chance I could get rescinded from the school if and when I get the grades above? I love Mac with all my heart, and while it isn't Harvard, it's a great LAC though. When I get the grade should I call the school (Mac) to inform them of this situation or should I just wait until May (or whenever they give final ok, you're ins)?
Or will I be ok?</p>

<p>But would they not care enough that bringing it up would just cause problems or doubt in my abilities?</p>

<p>You need to let them know when you get your grade so that if they do rescind you -- which is possible particularly if you get a "D", you'll have the time to apply elsewhere.</p>
