Rescinded Admission?

Before second semester of senior year, my cumulative GPA was a 3.8 w and 3.6 uw. I’m taking 4 AP’s senior year (I’ve taken 4 others before this year), and am only taking 3/5 AP tests because I want to focus and do well on a few of them, and my AP gov teacher did not prepare me for the AP test (most of the class agrees) and calculus…I joined the class late, and even though I think I could pass with a 3 or 4, a 5 is required for credit.

At the moment, I have 3 C’s (AP stats, AP calc, and AP econ.) Econ and stats should go up, but I have insane senioritis–I have a job and am doing track, and getting very lazy studying-wise. Would Bryn Mawr rescind me if I couldn’t bring up 1 or 2 of those C’s? If it helps, I’m a recruited athlete from California.

If this helps, I also have a 2080 SAT (680 CR 670 M 730 W) and 30 ACT (34 R 28 M 26 S) <–going off of memory. I’m just so nervous and if it gets bad I’ll quit track but it’s second semester of senior year and cut some of my work hours and ai ya :P

Well-- back in 1984, I had a lead in the show, a job, and a nasty AP Anatomy class. I withdrew from the class and my teacher withdrew her recommendation. Bryn Mawr was very kind. I honestly explained my difficulties, they wrote a very nice letter back, and I ended up graduating in three years with a decent GPA so all was well. I felt like the faculty trusted me and was on my side, and I took some care that their trust not be misplaced  I don’t think you have too much to worry about.
