I've actually recently been accepted into Penn State. My grades were never stellar to begin with but PSU still accepted me regardless. However, I feel as if part of this decision may have come from the fact that I've actually spent the past three years at a magnet school that's quite prestigious in my city. Due to some recent issues, I need to transfer out of the magnet school to complete the rest of my senior year at a regular high school. I will definitely be able to graduate in June so I will have a high school diploma but does anyone know if I would get rescinded for not receiving my diploma from the magnet school?

dude...no...never...haha find better things to fret about! lol...in all seriousness you will be fine. Congrats on your acceptence!

I have only heard of this being a problem if a disciplinary action was the reason for transfer, and if so, this would be evaluated on a case by case basis.

Thanks for your responses guys! The problem is that the reason for my transfer is due to the fact that I had some personal problems earlier this school year which caused me to miss several days of school. This caused my grades to plummet and makes graduating from my magnet school nearly an impossible feat (my magnet school requires more credits to graduate than normal high schools do). Since I'm a second term senior, it means that most regular high schools won't take me either so I will have to resort to a high school especially made for students that are "struggling". I will still be able to get a normal high school diploma and graduate on time. It's just that I'm worried Penn State might be upset when they see that I've transferred into such a horrible school. I suppose in most cases it wouldn't be a problem. It's just that I'm afraid that I might be an exception.
