Will i get rescinded from Clemson for one D in my third quarter grades? The D was in AP Government. I screwed up because soccer season started and the class got significantly harder. If I do really well my fourth quarter (an A or B) in this class will it make up for it? I'm kinda freaking out.

If your 2nd semester grade is C or higher, then you should be okay. Just make sure the overall grade is good and call them just in case.

okay, the first semester grade in the class was a B so the overall grade shouldn’t be too bad assuming I turn it around 4th quarter which I’m confident I will

kellbell093 get outta my thread with your irrelevant spam, i hope boston college (and others) all reject you. bye

Well, colleges look at both semesters. Your 1st semester grade won’t impact your 2nd semester grade. Since you got a D in the 3rd quarter, get an A or a B in the 4th quarter so your overall is C or higher. You’ll be set then. Good luck!

Your college may not even see that D. Transcripts don’t usually show quarter grades. They usually only show semester/year end grades.

So, finish the semester with at least a C for the average.

Thank you both, that is a relief. I’ll be sure not to mess up this time.
