Posted htis in one other forum; I was just accepted ed 2 to emory. unfortunateely i havent been achieving my normal academic standards. i have aveagesd around 4 as and 3 bs throughout hs in mostly honors/ap courses. i did move to a new school and was wondering if u think i will prob be rescinded or placed on probation and if u would recommend writing a note to the school. any help is appreciated these are my grades that i feel are extrememly weak for first and second marking periods respectively:
AP Spanish D C
AP Psych. B C
AP English B C
Physical Education A A
Business A A
AP Calc AB B B
<p>The D's and C's hurt...especially if you have never recieved lower than a B before...looks like "senioritis." However, those grades came in AP Courses, which might make the C's "acceptable." Also, Emory will see that you switched schools and will recognize the difficulty in doing so. I would recommend that you talk to your school's college counselor and ask her advice.</p>
