I was accepted to Penn and I'm currently sending my final grades; however, I am a little worried. My school's grading system has grades for two semesters each year.

My senior year grades

1st sem: AP Calc BC/Multivariable - B AP English - B AP Gov - B Hon Sci Res - A
AP Chem - C Engineering - A

2nd sem (this semester) AP Calc BC/Multivariable - B AP English - B AP Econ - A
Hon Sci Res - A AP Chem - B Engineering - A

I've had all A's prior to senior with very rigorous courseload. I did have some family issues that caused my grades to drop to Bs. But is this going to get me rescinded?

Bs will not get you rescinded.

Fs will get you rescinded. Maybe straight-Ds, too.

But stop worrying :P

C’s can get you rescinded as well. A’s and B’s are fine.

Well…if you have a lot of Cs…one or two, or even three, they won’t care much.
It’s REALLY hard to make them say no at this point.

first semester i had:

ap calc-95
ap bio- 99
ap english- 98
ap psych- 99
h span 3- 97

second semester i have:

ap calc bc- 82
ap engl- 99
ap bio- 100
internship- 100

will the 82 (a C) hurt me? probably not, but i’m on a block schedule so i have no idea if they will care or not…

Good grief! Stop worrying! The answer is absolutely not! That’s not even a C at most places.

when I was a freshman, someone at my school was rescinded from cornell for getting a C. don’t get C’s!!! and are you kidding??? how is an 82 a C!!! At my school that’s a B and you would be okay.
