umm...I meant I didnt know they could rescind me for bad grades during final exams. I came to know about that after I got my acceptance letter which stated that fact. AND I got that letter AFTER my exams, so there was nothing left I could recover from. The exams were over.

True, you cannot change how you did on your exams but you can still be held responsible for it even though you have not explicitly been told so at the time you took the exams (it is probably stated somewhere on the college's website or in some side clause elsewhere). Being the active CC member that you are, I would be surprised if you were not aware that poor results on the board exams could lead to revocation of your offer of admission at the time that you took the exams.

I was aware of it. But I had certain genuine reasons which couldn't be avoided. I have a solid HS record otherwise. I hope Colgate would take me on academic probation than directly kick me out.

Cheers!

Haha, it looks like some of you relaxed way too much these last months ...
At least with high school work.

None of us slacked :)

Indian students have a lot of other pressures other than just HS final exams. We have our college entrance exams right after we are done with the HS exams not to mention final exams were unusually difficult this year. (The question papers are same all over the country for our final exams)
