If I ask to rescore, what are the chances of my score changing for World History? If it's only multiple choice, does it make a difference? Oh and there are some rumors all AP Bio tests are being rescored due to the poor scores. Can anyone shed light on this? Does anyone know of any tests in a similar situation?

First off, I pretty sure the rumor about AP Bio’s rescoring is not going to happen, as nearly 63% of test takers passed, and the reason why few people got 5s was because few people met the cut-off for fives (~80% right). The people complaining about it should be happy with what they have. They only need to rescore if the ARE confident about having a higher score, which isn’t likely. People’s definition of “poor” can be completely different of CB’s definition of “poor”.

As for you, the chance for your score for world history to go up is between slim and none. It is possible, but really unlikely as CB really tries their best on the accuracy of everyone’s scores, even if you messed up with inputting your information on scantrons or missing AP numbers or so on. Even if they rescore multiple choice, chances are it won’t make a difference, unless the machine didn’t pick up your answers at first or if they lost your scantron, which again are both extremely unlikely. Like I said, only go for a re-score if you are completely confident on your abilities on having the higher score.
