Research opportunity for CCers

I have a research proposition for whoever is up for it. Here is how to go about it, but I dont feel like doing it, im too busy lol. Go to the Admissions Decisions from 2010 and see if you can find a correlation between CC posts and admissions. First make intervals, probably of 50 or 100. Like X% of people with 50-100 posts got into Princeton ED. Then put them in a list on the TI-83, then run a linear regression, or maybe it is exponential, power, logistic, try to see if there is a relationship between posts and acceptance rate. Sorry for being retarted, just seemed like a cool thing to do. I know one of you guys will do this for me. This is also a good review for anyone in AP Stat. Happy Correlationing. Thats my new verb. Wow I had too much sugar.

o_________o

hahaha...you're not being serious right?

Well it would be sorta cool to know if any person would like to dedicate the time to do it. But generally its a joke. But it will always be in my mind lol

lol ewww ap stat should die.

i dont think i've gotten a single test grade over 72% this year... my stat teacher's a crazy biotch.

tell you what, mitchhhs, when we both get into princeton, i'll meet you at nassau hall and give you the answer to the prob :]

Lol sounds good. Stats is actually really cool, ive used it a ton outside of the classroom. Some things are superfluous but others actually come in handy.

at my school, calc is a pre-requisite for stat... so i took calc bc last year and this year, i haven't used calc AT ALL in stat. what a waste of brain space.

if i had time to wast i would

You don't have do it in person, though. If you know a little bit of programming, you could automate the whole thing.

Maybe I'll work on it...when it's not 2 AM.

Hahaha this is a good idea.

Somehow I think there is a trend that users with 1000+ posts don't get accepted =/

Oooh if only you could have kept your mouth shut for 20 posts, oasis

So I'm still safe? :D

Lol I love you guys. AP stats really doesnt require calc whatsoever. Although it may help in reasoning for a few things. I bet there is definitely a relationship

lol oasis

im doomed :(

haha I'M EXTRA DOOMED for 1000+ in only a month.
