Research Project Brainstorming Help!

Hello everyone,

I plan to conduct a large survey of high school students at my school. I originally wanted to conduct research on alcohol usage in high school, but I don't think that would work out so well with the inevitable response bias. Thus, I think research on sleep deprivation (since it is a somewhat neutral topic of interest for most high school students).

Should I stick to sleep deprivation? Would it be possible for me to successfully research alcohol usage? :S

Thanks

What are you aiming for? Siemens? If so, surveying is very very dangerous if you aren't excellent at statistics. Its also horrible in terms of filling out the extra forms for human interaction.

No, not for siemens!

I was planning on doing a project for Young Epidemiology Scholars. And you're right--surveys can be very dangerous without a proper statistics background. However, it would be hard to obtain primary data any other way... and I don't want to only use secondary sources.
