What have you researched?/Science Research Ideas?

I have do a research paper on a science topic, where I will need to gather my own data & analyze it. It's pretty hard for me to come up with ideas where data gathering is possible, since I have limited resources.
I figured out that the easiest way to be able to get data is do some type of survey/study about teens. I also want to do a research about something related to medicine/health, since I'm interested in it and I want to become a doctor.

I came up with an idea, but someone had already picked it: What is the relationship between food allergies and the age of first exposure?

It would be appreciated if you could post your past research topics or any ideas on what I could research. Thanks :)

I did research for Multiple Sclerosis and the signal transduction pathway associated with this condition and discussed the normal and abnormal pathway. This is really good because when you gather data and evidence, you have to read scientific journals and interpret the information which is challenging but helpful in the long run.

Gas mileage? Relate it to each car’s weight, engine type and size, transmission type and number of gears, the configuration of the car, how it’s driven, stuff like that. If you could survey students at your school with a short form (hopefully you live somewhere that a lot of kids drive), you could crunch the data to find out which features affect gas mileage the most and with the greatest consistency. You could draw some interesting conclusions from that study.
