OMG dude you're up at 4 in the morning too? That's how Rickoids roll.

Haven't seen you in a while, what've you been up to?

Incidentally, did you get that likely letter from Harvard? I heard some other Rickoids got them too.

DUDE how are you?! Yeah man, pulling an all-nighter in typical Rickoid fashion!
I'm totally going to call you tomorrow. We need to catch up!
Yup, I got the letter. Did you get one from Pton? I got one in the mail over break.
Stay cool, man!
-RSI '08 RULES

I'm doing pretty well, just hanging out w/ the friends over break. Looking to publish something soon after I find out sensitivity domains for parameters in my model.

I got stuff to tell you. About Rickoid post-RSI dirtiness. lol.

Damn, Pton too? Must've been your Nature publications. Congrats!

^ lol overachievers :P

omg finally more rickoids :).. where is gblob anyway. i haven't seen him on this thread in a while

Did you guys get publications out of RSI? or were your 'nature Publications" from projects that you did before RSI?

Your stats aren't making us feel very good about our chances at RSI. =)

Ahh, sorry, my mistake - that person made MOSP AFTER getting rejected from RSI :) So there are probably many people like that, ISEF and USNCO and 240 is pretty common among RSI applicants

Yeah, and I am from Coppell,TX - still Paranoid place though -

3 sophs applying this year including me. 7 juniors applying this year

1 soph applied last year -rejected 4 juniors applyed last year - don't know status

There is probably more sophs this year - I just don't know them

Hey I'm a sophomore and im applying this year. I don't really think I stand a chance but I am taking 3 APS and got a 226 on the PSAT. What are the probabilities of a sophomore being accepted?

it's way lower than a junior applying... since really the program's targeted for juniors.. but give it a shot if u want

^I'd say very low, that's why I'm not applying this year....

Does being mentioned in the author block of a few published papers look good?

Were they your papers?

There's an interview for RSI?

Potential: 8 AP's by end of sophomore year? r u seriuos?
Sorry to say this, but you're scaring us. I only had 4 APs by the end of sophomore year.

also, to rickoids, how does taking math courses at universities look for RSI people? Or do they not care?

"Potential: 8 AP's by end of sophomore year? r u seriuos?
Sorry to say this, but you're scaring us. I only had 4 APs by the end of sophomore year." Dashboard...

I will have 7 APS and multivariable calculus - past AP by the end my soph year too. But I don''t think they see apS THAT much.

Dashboard - "also, to rickoids, how does taking math courses at universities look for RSI people? Or do they not care?".

Yeah I have the same question .... I took 4 courses - Algebra I Algebra II Geometry, and Number Theory - i suppose this is independent learning

WOW, this thread is crazy - 12 pages in less than twelve days
