Research Science Institute (RSI) 2014

@legtimate neither rejection nor acceptance?

According to sources I have, Iā€™ve been accepted into RSI. However I havenā€™t actually recieved official notification of this (and I havenā€™t gotten notification of a rejection either).

Does anyone know if the process is the same for DoDEA students? Iā€™m pretty sure that I have gotten in, and if I in fact did Iā€™d hate it if some simple communication mistake makes me miss the chance to attend.

@lupe837 neither. nothing in the mail.

official rsi group 2014 is up

I havenā€™t heard anything either. Iā€™ve been checking my spam filter regularly but still nothing.

you lot are pretty damn provincial

^^ random

Accepted, VA.

I have a few open questions for EVERYONE:

 1. Have any of you received your ā€œacceptance letter?ā€

2) Is it an email, or snail mail?

3) Where/when will the ā€œacceptedā€ list appear online?

Iā€™ve been nervously checking google news and found a news story dated 8 hours ago that one lucky guy got accepted for the 2014 programā€” has anyone else heard/found anything?

The acceptance emails have already been sent out.

I didnā€™t even get a rejection letter thoughā€¦ is there any way I can find out what happened?

It most likely is in your spam folder or something along those lines. You can email RSI if you like.

Hello RSI applicants. I am a future RSI applicant (current freshman) and I know some of you must have done some sort of scientific research or lab assisting or something. Can anyone tell me how they got to those because I was told that I have to be 16 to be allowed insideā€¦ I am still 14 :/

@livelaugh7ā€Œ many internships at universities do not have such age restrictions. Also, you can consider directly contacting a professor to conduct your research under their guidance.

Just joined CC, but accepted to RSI as well.

@TheQuasiSunā€Œ I contacted the head of research at a local hospital and they said I couldnā€™t enter a lab per state law because I wasnā€™t 16ā€¦

Anyone have any information on how often alternates get in? :(

@annie never

Any alternates who have got in?

@livelaugh7 Theyā€™re lying.
