I’m also bumping this thread since the incoming students are finding out their residential college assignments.
You’ll never find an answer for this question. Every college is like a cult, residents love their colleges and love to tease competitors and play pranks on them. What’s best is the friendly and respectful nature of these rivalries. Each college has a distinct character yet they all share so much.
The residential college system is one of the things that makes Rice such a special university.
