<p>i have a question as a transfer applicant:</p>

<p>let's say I get accepted to school A and I need to notify them about whether I will attend it in 2 weeks-time from the date they mailed out the letter of acceptance. However, I haven't heard back from school B yet, which would be my top choice, because it mails out its decision much later. Is it possible to extend the time period that I'm required to send in my decision? Thanks!</p>

<p>you can always try to call school B and tell them your conundrum and ask if there is anyway you can be informed early. But depending on School A’s admissions office they might extend their deadline…it depends on the offices unfortunately</p>
