Rest of Summer...

I'm a rising HS senior, and I'd like to know what to do for the rest of my summer. I just completed an internship for a summer program I'm doing, finished college classes, and an event I planned is happening this coming week.

Here are some options:

Get a job -- not sure if I can continue it when school starts (I'll have 4 APs and extracurricular commitments...) The shop is across the street from me as well.

Do community service -- I've done some already (thru clubs, organizations, etc.) yet I should still do more. It couldn't hurt, and the organization I'm interested in is right across the street from me.

Work on a political campaign -- my internship was political in nature, so this would be a good segue. Yet it is time consuming (2-5 pm every day) and I'm not sure how far away it is from me. It also could only be a short term opportunity (I don't know when/if the candidate will be elected) and it isn't paid (like a job would be.)

I can't drive and don't have a car, so that's why proximity matters (time constraints as well, as I'm doing college apps + summer AP homework.)

Any suggestions on what I should do?

PS: My school starts on Aug. 24, so I'm not sure if I can continue something for the long-term once the year starts. It'll be pretty hectic.

Scenario seems like a personal decision and as such I don’t think you will get much help from these boards.

My short version of advice
-Take the job if you need the money
-Take the internship if you don’t need the money and want to bolster your resume and you are actually capable of following through and participating in it
-Do the community service gig if you don’t need money, don’t need to bolster your resume, and want to contribute to a cause that you support.

Only you know your limitations and capabilities

I would suggest to spend the time to on you college applications and essays. Have as many of them done as possible. Once school starts you won’t have as much time. Otherwise, take a few weeks off and relax, senior year is going to be tough.
