So I recently created my resume and it is 1 and a half pages long. My friends told me it can only be one page long. Is this true? I know that I don’t have to put everything on my resume, currently the only things on there are important EC. Also is anyone willing to show me an example resume?
Is this for applying to college?
Have you confirmed that you can’t fit all of your ECs on the application itself? Resumes are extra. Not needed if everything fits on the app.
For a high school student, even a heavily involved one, a resume should definitely NOT exceed one page.
@bodangles @mademoiselle2308 yes my resume only includes the ECs I would want to elaborate more on. I felt that I wasn’t able to do that on the activities section. I addressed my EC in my essays so would I even need to elaborate now?
Do not exceed you resume more than one page. It’s a common standards you should follow. If you are feeling difficulty in resume writing, try resume builders, they will help to put all your personal info in a concise form.

If you addressed your ECs in your essays, I see no reason to elaborate further on your resume. Under no circumstances should your resume exceed one page. You have one page - how you fill it is up to you, but NO more than one page!
You can find sample college resumes online using Google.
