Resume, Help!

Hi, I'm planning to revise my resume and I was wondering what the size of the page needs to be? Is it okay if I set the page size as: 1/2 inch left and right and 1.5 inch top and bottom? Or is this inappropriate? (I hope to fit everything on one page).

Thanks.

are you sending in your resume to the colleges? if so, why? I don't recall any place asking for one. am I missing something?

My understanding is that unless you have a LOT of good ECs, there's no reason to send in a resume. Most students end up using most of the space to explain the ECs they already listed on the application, which is a bad idea.

If you just have a few more things, the additional info section is a better place you put it.

Thanks, but I have few ECs to explain. So what's the standard page size that's appropriate?

The margins really don't matter. Just make sure it is a standard size paper, not legal, and that it all fits on one page. Don't add stuff that is already on your application like SAT score or gpa.

Thanks, ebeeeee.
