I have noticed that some schools (including Cornell, Johns Hopkins, and Northeastern) offer a space in their common app questions for an optional resume. Everything I have to say about my qualifications I have been able to fit, either in the activities and honors sections, or in the additional information box. Any resume I submitted would be redundant. Does it look bad to a college if you do not take advantage of that opportunity and submit a resume (especially for colleges like Northeastern that have no supplemental essay)? Or is it just another thing to bog down an application? Thanks!
