resume?

is there a place to upload ur resume for online app? or are the 6 spaces all u get?

u only get those 6 spots but u can send a seperate resume in the mail

I understand they that you not send a resume. Can anyone else confirm this? I don't think I'll be sending mine, since my top 6 EC's are virtually my only essential ones.

Are you only supposed to list what you haven't written on the application in your resume? sorry this is probbably a dumb question.

I realized I made a typo in my last post lol... I meant:

"I understand that they prefer you not send a resume. Can anyone else confirm this? I don't think I'll be sending mine, since my top 6 EC's are virtually my only essential ones."

u can list other ones but i also wrote a few sentences about each activity since some of them like youth and government and gym meet aren't self-explanatory

I would also like to know if there is any way at all to upload a resume via the online application. If not, I'd send it with the application signature form, rather than faxing(the signature form).

Anyone send a resume in the past? I would call admissions to ask about this, but I really want to send one, and if they say no, it would look pretty bad if I did.

i wrote them an email, and they said they do not prefer resumes, but you can attach a sheet in the same format with other extracurriculars. They said they dont like resumes because it makes it too hard for them to differentiate new activities vs those already listed on the app. I think that some of my activities on the actual app however need a further explanation, so I relisted the 6 activities and then some other ones (including things like summer programs) in the same format on another sheet of paper, and added a brief description where needed. I put a star next to the first 6 activities on the other sheet (the 6 activities from my application) and indicated that *= activities already listed on application, but with brief description for clarification purposes
I hope this is ok...

Again, any way to attach this electronically?

collegecountdown, nope

The way Im doing it is online, where it asks you to attach a picture and to place that pic in a word document and upload the word doc, I'm just placing my resume' on the next page, and upload it. Its all printed out the same way. I dont want to send it via snail mail because of the lag time between them receiving it and actually filing it.

Thanks for the help!

On the paper app, it says you can attach a full list of activities with explanation, so you can send it in by mail even if you apply online.

brhchs06 thats a really good idea...but is it like legal to do so...or will they be like wt heck

uh..legal? lol. The only thing is, it will sya "Photograph Upload" in the top left corner of your item...but its really no big deal.
