Hi I was pretty disappointed to get a 790 on the June Math II subject test.
I wanted to apply ED UPenn Wharton, and most kids there have solid 800s. This would prob put me in the 81 percentile, should I retake in October?

And please don't be cynical about this, I don't want to feel like this played a role in my rejection.

I got a 790 and talked to my teachers and counselors about it, debating whether I should retake it for an 800. However, they all told me not to, because honestly, what is the difference between a 790 and an 800? It’s still a solid score.

No. I wouldn’t, especially since UPenn wants all your SAT 2 scores. (correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s what I vaguely remember) it’s seem a bit desperate and honestly 790 and 800? The difference is minuscule.
