Retake a good SAT score?

I took the December SAT, and got a 2320 (800 R, 720 M, 800 W 77 with 12 essay). I know it's a great score, and I'm really proud of it.

But I want to be an engineer. And I'm afraid that the low math score will hurt my chances at top schools. I've already taken the Math SAT II twice now (740 - sophomore year, no studying; 760 - junior year, slightly more studying), and I really don't know what I should do.

Is it worth it to retake my SAT to bring that math score up (and risk dropping my reading/writing sections (reading I'm okay in, but I don't think I'll be able to get a 12 essay again))? Should I take the Math SAT II a third time and try to get an 800?

Or should I just be happy with what I got and just lower my standards for engineering schools (so...aim for good but not top ten schools).

Most schools superscore the SAT results. See http://professionals.collegeboard.com/profdownload/sat-score-use-practices-list.pdf

Imo you’re fine, there’s no reason to re-take it. I also think you don’t have to lower your standards either though, because a 2320 is a REALLY good score. I don’t think a 720 in a section will hold you back.
