Retake ACT 33 or SAT 2150?

I took the ACT last March and got a 33 with 35 Math, 36 Reading, 35 Writing, 27 Science, 8 Essay. I took the SAT in May and got a 660 Math, 750 CR, 740 Writing, 8 Essay.

I can't decide if I should retake the SAT or the ACT. I think it would be more difficult to improve my ACT score because I'm afraid if I raise my science score, the others won't be as high and I'll get a 33 again (or less). However, I like the ACT more than the SAT. Should I retake the SAT anyway, since, in theory, it should be easier to improve my math score? Or should I just leave both scores and not retake either?

I plan on applying to Tufts, Williams, Amherst, U of R, and Duke.

I would say retake the SAT. SAT has been known to have greater improvement in score between tests.

Either would be a good choice.

As long as you seriously study for math on the SAT or even more for science aspect of the ACT.

I would say, if many of your schools superscore the ACT, definitely go for that. Otherwise, I’d suggest the SAT.
