<p>My cumulative score on the ACT was 30 and on writing I scored a 7, and I am debating whether or not it is worth retaking. Currently, my college of interest is UW-Madison (I'm in state). With the notion that my GPA (3.96 unweighted), extra-curriculars, and community involvement are remarkable, can anyone speak from personal experience, regarding Madison, about whether or not I should retake the test?</p>
<p>As a side note, I contacted the UW admissions counselor for my area and he thought these scores were good, but could not give me an exact 'standard' for next years application process.</p>
