I may just be intimidated by the other two stellar chance threads on this forum, but I got a 720 on the Physics SAT - I realize this is a good score but I think I need to offset some lower grades on my transcript and I'm reasonably sure I could get closer to an 800... anyone have thoughts?

Personally, I wouldn't worry a ridiculous amount about it; the difference between a 720 and an 800 is not that much. I would rather put the effort into pushing up other things.

The thing is, this is a personal decision, and not knowing your other scores and things, it's really hard to give you advice other than that. If it would make you rest easier without taking too much of your time or money, it would be reasonable for you to retake. However, if it's going to be too stressful, I wouldn't really bother.

Just my two cents. Good luck!
