Retake SAT or Subject Tests??

So I've taken the SAT once.
I got a 2070
CR: 620
M: 800
W: 650
I think it's an alright score, but I would like it to be higher.

Most of the colleges I'm looking at require Subject tests. I took three subject tests in June (bad idea to take 3 at once..) and I didn't do too well on them.
Physics: 670
Math II: 700
Literature: 660

I also took the ACT once and I got a 28 on it. I'm definitely retaking that in September. But I'm not sure whether to retake the SAT or SAT II in October. I know I'll retake whichever one I didn't already retake in November, but I want to apply to some schools with Early Action.

I wouldn’t bother with retaking the ACT again. Use the time to study for the SAT1 and SAT2’s.

I’m not really preparing for the ACT, but I figure I should retake it anyways. I think all I need is a good night’s sleep to do better.

But should I retake the SAT1 or SAT2 first??

Sorry, but 2070 (CR: 620, M: 800, W: 650), or an ACT score of 28, is not really competitive for colleges that require three SAT subject tests. If you are seriously interested in those type of schools, you definitely need an ACT of 31+ or SAT scores above 2100.

I’m not looking into any schools that require three subject tests.

Okay let me see if I understand – you have an SAT score of 2070; you’re NOT applying to schools that require 3 subject tests; you’re NOT prepping to take the ACT again. Without knowing the specific schools you are applying to, I would say “You’re done.”

I think if you have the energy you should retake the SAT or ACT. Not SAT IIs.
