Retake SAT USH?

I took the SATII US History exam my freshman year at the same time I was taking APUSH. I got a 4 on the AP exam, but a 650 on the SATII. Should I retake the exam now to try and get a higher score? I'd have to study all over again because it's been a long time, but if this is going to kill my apps then I'll do it.

Any advice?
Thanks!

Are you a junior now?? Yeah, I’d say re-take it, if you’re sure you can pull up your grade by at least 70 points.

I’m a senior now actually, so that’s why its a question for me… I don’t want to take away from my SAT prep that would be going on at the same time because I’m trying to get in my Early Decision application. Should I still try it?

Focus mostly on your SATs, and if you think you can pull of at least a 700 on your SAT US History, go for it. It is true that USH requires a lot of memorizing, so I’d say it’s up to you. You know better if you can do it, given your circumstances (e.g school workload).

You might be better off taking an SAT Subject Matter test in a subject that you took more recently.
