I got a 2270 (80 M, 70 CR, 77, W) what do u guys think? Will raising my CR help me for MIT?

dude *** NO

I would, its only $40.

CR is a hard score to raise. Are you confident you can get 50 points higher? If not, I don't think it would be that worth it...though hey, it can't hurt. Except your pocketbook, I guess, but whatevs.

I would only retake it if you're willing to sink a significant amount of time into studying for it. As dally said, it's a hard score to raise.

dally is right. CR is hard to raise. Unless you know that you're capable of much higher than 700 (750+ at least), then don't retake. 2270 is competitive at any school

700 is well in MIT's range.

"700 is well in MIT's range."

Agreed. http://web.mit.edu/ir/cds/2007/c.html

Only retake if you have spare money, time, and have already taken all the SAT II's you want, getting good scores in them.

Math matters more than CR anyway and you got an 800 on it. w/e, i woudn't sweat it

do you think i need to retake a 670 V 780 M?
