Retake SAT's for transfer?

I wish to be admitted into NYU CAS and Fordham CAS. Is it neccessary to improve ones chances of admission to retake the SAT in hopes of a better score? Or is it not worth it because the SAT's have diminished importance as a sophmore/junior transfer? I know that NYU does not require SAT's, but would it be frowned upon if one omits them? Also, does Fordham require them? Thanks.

Also (very important question) - I am a Biochemistry major with Precalc...NYU states a general Liberal Arts curriculum...What exactly does this mean and will it hurt my chances if i continue to take Biochemistry or should i change it now? (before i start school).

bump bump bump

I dont know about Fordham, but I know that NYU doesn't care about the SAT.

"If you are applying as a transfer student and you took either one of these tests (SAT or ACT) while in high school, you should not retake the tests now; simply submit the results of your high school SAT I or ACT examinations. If you did not take the SAT, the SAT I or ACT examinations in high school and have been in college less than one year, you must take one of these tests and submit the results as part of your application. International students who are in an area where the ACT Writing Test is not offered must take the SAT."
