Retake the sat after already being in college?

<p>Hey guys I'm hoping to transfer to a competitive university for fall of 10 and I notice a lot of them look at your SAT scores. Is it possible to retake the sat for a better score?</p>

<p>Note: I am a junior level standing at a ccc and will have about 80-85 semester units after spring 10.</p>

<p>Some colleges will allow this, others won’t. You need to ask each school.</p>

<p>You want a loophole? I talked to BU and NYU admissions offices and they both told me I had to retake the SAT or ACT+W if I wanted to apply because they required it. I only to ACT and didn’t do so good on it and now I plan on retaking it. Look at a schools requirements and see if they require the writing portion. (But this is only if you only took the ACT) Hope that helps.</p>
