I've decided to take the SAT I for the third and final time. I've checked with most of my schools, and most will take the Jan 28th test results.

The first time, as a junior in the spring, I scored: 660cr, 710m, 600w
Second time in November: 670cr, 720m, 770w

This time I really want to focus on the critical reading and math (I did before, but somehow I suddenly clicked on the writing. Didn't practice it much, never got above 700 in a practice test).

I'm hoping for above 700 on cr and just improvement on math (i.e. no stupid mistakes).

What is the best way I should study for the critical reading? Should I work on some vocab (I've missed 6 the first time and 4 the second time)? Or just take practice tests hoping to improve? By the time I took the test the second time I was starting to break 700 on cr, so I was a bit dissappointed on the real thing. I always seem to pick the SECOND best answer. How can I stop doing that?!

I've just taken loads of practice tests in the past. Should I just keep doing that (also for the math)?

Thanks
