Happy holidays everyone! I just received my December SAT scores, and I'm planning on retaking it. My total score was a 2280, CR: 780, M: 700, W: 800. However, I'm wondering if taking it again back-to-back in January is a good idea?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! (especially since January SAT registration ends soon D:)

If you have time to practice before the Jan test, then go ahead. Also consider what you’ve been getting on your practice tests (assuming you’ve done some) and how those scores compare to your actual scores. If they’re consistently similar (or lower than your actual) then it may be difficult to improve.
If it helps, I got 33 on the ACT on my first try, but in my practice tests I often got 34s/35s/36s, so I prepped some more (for a few weeks), retook it, and got a 35. Good luck :D
