Retaking Math II...

According to people here on CC, a 760 on the SAT Math II test is a great score. Nevertheless, I've decided to retake it since a) everyone else I know got an 800 and thought it was easy, b) studying for it won't take up that much of my time, and c), I'm 99% sure that I can get an 800. Are there any DISadvantages to retaking it when the score was already pretty good to begin with? Would colleges think "Wow, she's really obsessive about her scores," or would they just take it as a good improvement?

Sorry that I'm complaining about a good score =\ I'm constantly surrounded by people with extremely high standards...and this is what happens!

It is a great score. I would spend your energy on other components of your application.

S is retaking a 740 on the Math II, for pretty much the same reasons. He will be there anyway taking another subject test, so its pretty easy for him to retake the Math II at the same sitting. I can’t imagine it would hurt you with colleges to take it again, but I wouldn’t stress about it. 760 is a great score!
