I am writing my retroactive withdrawal essay and would like some advice/insight. The reasons for my withdrawal was because I did not attend class due to the fact that I was not on the schools system and when I was it was impossible to navigate it. The schools respective email system did not allow me to log in and my CUNY first was based around a different school.

Because of the CUNY first issue I was running around with 2 EMPL ID's and had to sign up for classes twice under different advisers in the same school. Out of about 20 people in orientation I was the only person with this issue. I've brought it up to several different administration officials with their usual response being to wait about a week for it to resolve. The last person to help me told me to contact the school that was showing in my CUNY first which I did. Their response was to contact MY (the school I want to go to) school's administration office. Anyways this issue has since been resolved because I applied to 1 college this time around.

My email issue also started in orientation. I tried logging in several times with an adviser looking over me and claiming they don't know why it happens. The administration officials directed me to the people in charge with the schools email system who told me to wait and it will resolve soon. Nothing happened and It still doesn't work.

I ask for help because from what I've read most people withdraw from class due to other reasons ie: medical/family/financial. I realize my mistake was to attend class even if my email and CUNY first didn't work. Ideally I would like a second chance because this time around I know I won't have issues. The email issue may me a liability but hopefully it can be fixed.

My question is, are my reasons reasonable? I have a feeling that I'm putting too much blame on the school but this was really out of my hands.

ps. this is not my appeal essay
