Are you an international student?

If your family income is less than $25K, I don’t think your EFC and/or budget can be $15K…that seems much too high. What can your family contribute to college costs each year?

Yes, I am international student.
My parents are willing to contribute $60K from their savings.

For admission to a US college that will cost less than $15K per year, you will likely need to be one of the top students in your country…is that the case?

Do you have affordable college options in your country? In the UK or EU?

What are you looking for in a college, beyond major? Things like size of school, location, setting, etc?

No, I am not even close to being one of the top students in my country. I have decent grades but my ECs are below average.

Most the colleges in my country are affordable for me and I am currently looking into them.
I am also considering applying to UK universities as they seem to emphasize more on academics rather than ECs.

I am not looking for anything specific in a college. I don’t think I have a chance at US universities with acceptance rate less than 50-60% considering my weak ECs and very low EFC. I am looking for decent colleges with great scholarships for international students that I could attend affordably.
