To those who score in the range of 33-36, what can I do to improve my scores again? I've exhausted Princeton Review's study materials, as well as The Real ACT book while studying for the June ACT. Which study materials help you get those last few points needed to score higher? I've heard of Barron's 36, but are there any more? Also, I would like to improve my Mathematics score--are there any good review books for math review?

Wow I am impressed! I want to know how you got your English score from a 28 to a 34 and the same with your Reading score as well as your science!

Lots of practice tests. I started studying and practicing when school got out, which was about 3 weeks before the June ACT. I first went through Cracking the ACT by Princeton Review, which gave me the basics needed to “crack” the ACT. To reinforce what I had learned, I took the practice tests in the book. I also bought Princeton’s 1,296 ACT Practice Questions and worked through that. Lastly, I went through the Real ACT book. The trick while doing all these practice tests is going over which ones you got wrong and explaining to yourself why you got them wrong so you don’t make the same mistake next time.

Yea I have a 30 and I dont really know how to improve it because i have done every single real practice test available and Ive done every practice test in the Red Book Twice lol so I dont have any other thing to look at. On my first ACT, I got a 28 and then I got a 27 and then my goal for June was a 30 and i got it so this was supposed to be my last ACT but should I take it again anyways. I wont have as much time to study though because Im doing college apps instead.

@canefreak I don’t think you should, you’re probably at your threshold if you truly have studied all you could for the test.

@thedreadedone Yea I studied all that I could, I really cant do anything else, but I should have gotten a 31 composite but my reading screwed it up, thats why i want to do it again but if i did i probably won’t do as well in the other sections. I got a …

Are there any good Math review books out there?
