Review My Schedule For Junior/Senior Year?

JUNIOR YEAR:

AP Physics 1
AP Lang & Comp
AP Gov/Econ (no honors or AP available)
Band
Honors Pre Calculus
Honors Spanish 4

SENIOR YEAR:

AP Chem OR Honors Anatomy & Physiology
AP Lit
AP Pysch
Band
AP Calc AB

I want to go to a highly selective school and pursue a career in medicine. Thanks in advance!

Junior year looks good to me but if you are doing a pre-med track, AP chem over Anatomy and physiology, and does your school offer AP Physics 2? If so, I would do that instead of psych.

I say your schedule is good. I would choose to do ap Chem just to prepare for college chemistry (it’s super difficult apparently) and because you want to be a pre-med. I disagree with the commentator above, don’t take two ap lab sciences together. Keep AP psych because it’s an easier class and slows you to focus on college applications.

Looks like a good schedule, assuming you are able to keep up with the workload. I also recommend keeping AP Psych in lieu of taking 2 AP science classes. Not only might it be overwhelming being in 2 lab sciences, but taking a social science helps you look more well rounded.

JUNIOR YEAR:

AP Physics 1
AP Lang & Comp
AP Gov/Econ (no honors or AP available)
Band
Honors Pre Calculus
Honors Spanish 4
=> GOOD

SENIOR YEAR:

AP Chem OR Honors Anatomy & Physiology => take AP Chem, or both AP Chem and A&P
AP Lit
AP Pysch => you should take a history class if you can, AP Psych is an elective
Band
AP Calc AB
You need one more academic class (could be AP Psych or Honors A&P).
