<p>I want to major in graphic design or something closely related. I've been looking at some schools but I don't know how reputable or how good their design/art programs are. If you know anything about the design programs at the following schools please let me know!</p>

<p>RISD, which is in your backyard, consistently ranks as the #1 design school in the US. However, it’s very expensive and selective. Is cost a factor? If you would incur massive debt to attend, I don’t recommend it. The field of graphic design is not known for it’s stellar salaries. The northeast has many great schools for graphic design (most that you listed), so moving across the country is unnecessary unless you get a substantial scholarship somewhere. If you are a MA resident, Mass Art is a great value. </p>
