Revisits

Sounds like you had a wonderful day! (But why did lunch make you cry?)

@graceeeeeee 10th! New lower!

@buuzn03 Wow what a great day!!! I hope that your son has a great time there: it seems like a great school :)>- . The lion thing is 150% something that I would do! Any guy who’s “too cool” for one is just kidding himself :wink: .

@CaliMex if you’ve seen other posts, you’ll know I am all about the food! This food was so unremarkable, I just wanted to cry… @Nico.campbell you actually remind me of an outgoing version of DS…he tends to do things like that (and set the trends for them) but just in a quiet to himself kind of way…I love that about him! Now, if I could just get him to talk to people…lol.

@buuzn03, with all the lavish, fancy foods that SPS offers on revisit days, my kid’s revisit student only ate rice!! Oh, kid was heartbroken!

@GoatMama – as am I!!! The horror!

@lusitari that’s the grade my friend is in!!! she loves it there; i’m sure you will too!!

@buuzn03 Oh the trust me I am the definition of an introvert. I am farrrr more shy in person. My parents sometimes see my posts and say “I’ve never seen you say that much in your life” :))

@Nico.campbell how many classes at choate did you get to see?

@graceeeeeee I saw a Spanish class, a small part of a math class, and also the revisit kids went to their own kind of tech class.

@Nico.campbell my daughter was at the NMH and Milton revisits the same day you were. We are off to Choate tomorrow. Any advice?

@Hulahoop45 I wow what a coincidence! I would just say to not sweat it, and don’t be too quiet! The kids there are SO kind but they’re still teenagers, so your daughter needs to initiatiate some dialogue too :wink: . Just relax and enjoy! When I was there, the orchestra played and it was unreal. It was sevely intimdating how good they were :))

@Nico.campbell thanks! i’m going tomorrow and i just wanted to know how many i’d get to see :smiley:

@graceeeeeee I hope you have a great time! If you get to see more classes than me, I’ll be jealous :)>- . I really wish that I had gotten to see more…

@Nico.campbell hehe, i’ll update you when i get back!

Does anyone else know where they will be attending in the fall? If so will you share I’d love to know how you came to your decision. I am so nervous right now!!

^^^ Yup do share on @AppleNotFar 's thread:

:slight_smile:

@Nico.campbell i got to see an english class and a pshysics class! and you’re so right, the orchestra was SO INCREDIBLY TALENTED IT WAS CRAZY! the food was super delicious (i had a hamburger) and the club fair afterwards was really fun. can’t wait for september!

Yesterday I went to my Deerfield revisitand I just wanted to tell those deciding whether or not to go there about Deerfield. It was kinda rainy all day, so it seemed a bit gloomy, but the kids were still great. I went to a physics class where they were working on a lab where they had to propel a car using a mouse trap (I thought this was cool) and the class was really relaxed and everyone seemed happy. I had a sit down meal and was really impressed with how much etiquette everyone showed, I felt like I was in a pageant. :smiley: then I went to math where they used iPads for their homework and used airplay to show the whole class how they did there work on a big screen. I then went to a discussion based English class which was a bit dull, but everyone seemed drained from the bad weather. Overall, though, I think DA is a great school and I especially liked the community where everyone was super welcoming to me. The academics were great, I LOVED how they used technology in math, and I think this is a solid school. Hope this helps someone!

@midtowngirl is DA where you’ll be attending? Or are you having a decision dilemma like @lusitari ? And the biggest question…HOW WAS THE FOOD? :))
