What IB score would warrant my admission to be revoked?
To other IB'ers GOOD LUCK TOMORROW!

Get the diploma, and lower 30s should suffice.

But seriously, just do well on the exams. If you are just thinking of pulling the bare minimum, WashU may not have been the best choice.

I don’t think Wash U will revoke because of IB/AB scores.

Actually, I don’t think they even want IB marks. you can submit them if you want. But call and ask and they will give a direct answer. But from what I heard from ppl from previous years, they hardly care about IB marks. As long as you have good final grades for your semester at your high school its fine

IB / AP scores only matter for transferring credit.

They’ll only question your performance if you do poorly in the high school class itself.

Do well on the IB / AP exams if you want some advanced credit to place out of courses, or for your own personal satisfaction (should be most important).

Now that I think about it, IB scores don’t come out til in July. By then, they can’t really revoke your admissions. I would still say the minimum is to get the diploma to not raise any eyebrows.

Another thing is, if you get a 6 or 7 in your IB classes, it will count towards a maximum of 15 credits at WashU. That’s less classes you have to take to fulfill the 120 credit requirement (at least for ArtSci).

I know people who didn’t even send in their IB reports until halfway through sophomore year.
Seriously, it’s not an issue.

I only take IB classes considering my school is primarily IB- meaning my transcript will go to them right after I get my marks back. I don’t plan on failing so easy on the lectures, gents.

Thanks for everyone’s answers :)
