Can the picture in my box on the signature page, go beyond the box itself? As in outside the borders.

anyone know?

Are you referring to having a picture "outside the box"? If so, the answer is NO. That's way, waaaay overused. If you just mean part of the picture does not fit within the borders, that's probably fine.

I meant the latter, that the borders of the picture, extend beyond the borders of the box.

I doubt that it would bother them too much, but I just want to be sure.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Mine went out. I don't think it really matters.

On a different note, what should we put in the box?!? I don't know what to put...

Apparently, something that appeals to you. Think of the box as your first test of academic integrity, as a test of whether or not you would follow Rice's Honor Code. In short, don't ask us what to put in it. If any of us answer your question, it might be something that we ourselves put in the box, and if you just copy us, then Rice might not think that you're very original.

Why don't you ask yourself these questions: What do I want the admissions committee to know about me? What can I put in this box to reveal that?
