Rice Preview Day (well, half day) for Sophomore/Junior

D22 received an email inviting her to attend the Rice Preview Day for Sophomores/Juniors. Does anyone know if this is different from the regular tour/info session that everyone can do? If we can rearrange a few things to make it work, would it be a good idea given that the GC at school said that Rice looks at demonstrated interest? Has anyone attended this program?

I am not entirely certain but I think that while the preview days are a structured 1/2 day program, there are still plenty of other opportunities to visit, tour, etc. if the dates of preview days don’t work for you. Rice is a school that looks at demonstrated interest so if you can visit campus, I would. Plus it’s gorgeous!
