Why would they not tell the exact date? either today or any workday next week??? WHY???
Based on what happened with ED this year, I’d say it’ll definitely be today. It was the same situation, with one person hearing about it on the phone the morning of the 11th and the decisions were out a little before 5 pm eastern.
An email went out last night from Rice admissions saying they are not announcing today. They are announcing next Thursday 3/31/16
@stuman Weird, I never got this e-mail. Is there anyone else who can corroborate your claim?
@stuman I didn’t get an email. Also, I would like to think that they wouldn’t release on 3/31. Don’t want to be overshadowed by the Ivys

Yeah that email doesn’t exist. Rice hasn’t notified of release date in the past, and I wouldn’t expect them to today
I just called Rice. They said they are releasing BY April 1st. The lady on the phone stressed that they could come out anytime now.
It went to my daughter. I will have her post it later today.
Maybe @stuman is actually an admissions counselor that feels our pain who is trying to give us a tip…just speculation.
The fact that they don’t give us any warning makes this so much more **** stressful lol.
So in previous years, was there even an email telling applicants that decisions were out when they were posted?
Don’t mean to be rude, but we have said several times that they did not notify anyone by email prior to decision release.
I dont think it’s funny to stress out a bunch of anxious teenagers before such a huge moment
It is extremely stressful to wait knowing that the decisions can be sent out anytime now. There is no time to mentally prepare yourself for the punch-in-the-face like feeling of a painful rejection 
I hope it’s today. I can’t wait any longer 
Just called the admissions office and was able to get them to tell me my decision. I was waitlisted. 
Oh well better than a rejection I guess…
